Pneumococcal vaccines help protect against some of the more than 100 serotypes of pneumococcal bacteria. Pneumococcal disease contributes to the U.S. burden of pneumonia, meningitis, bacteremia, sinusitis, and otitis media.

  • for all adults 65+
  • or 19-64  with certain conditions – alcoholism, chronic heart/liver/lung disease, chronic renal failure, cigarette smoking, cochlear implant, congenital or acquired asplenia, CSF leak, diabetes mellitus, generalized malignancy, HIV infection, Hodgkin disease, immunodeficiencies, iatrogenic immunosuppression, leukemia, lymphoma, multiple myeloma, nephrotic syndrome, solid organ transplant, or sickle cell disease or other hemoglobinopathies

Influenza– seasonal, every year

Covid19– 2023/24 strain

RSV– new for 2023/24 season, for Adults 60+
